Party Girls

The term party girls can have many connotations. On a college campus, a party girl may be someone who is in with all the fraternities and sororities and attends most of their parties. This party girl is usually the first one on the dance floor and the last one to leave it. Seeing her interact at the party, you may tend to think she knows everyone on campus. She may be beautiful or plain, but her bubbly personality is usually what attracts people to her. Even President Bush’s own daughters, Jenna and Barbara, were referred to as party girls by the media because they loved to show up at various parties. They were even caught drinking when underage.

Other party girls are the ones that can be found at bars. Some of these party girls may be college party girls who graduated and miss being the center of attention, so now they are often known as bar party girls. Most of them have regular bars at which they hang out. They know other people who attend the bar regularly and probably know the bartenders on a first name basis. They may be looking for romance or just wanting to get out and have a good time after a hard work week.

Sometimes the term party girl has a bad connotation. A party girl may be someone that others view as easy because of her actions. Party girl may mean she is up for anything with anybody including sexual experimentation. Many times, a prostitute or escort may be referred to as a party girl. This may be because prostitutes cannot legally ask people if they want to have sex, so they have to ask is someone wants “to party.” Party girls can also refer to strippers. Many times these strippers are hired to perform at a party, such as a bachelor or divorce party. This may be why they are referred to as party girls.
