Wedding Party Favors
Many women dream of their wedding day. Therefore, it makes sense
that they want everything perfect, right down to the last detail.
Many brides-to-be think it is important to have just the right
wedding party favors in order to let their guests know how much
they appreciate them being there for their special day.
There are many different types of wedding party favors from
which a bride can choose. And, there is no need to limit your
self to one party favor. Many brides have two, three, or even
more party favors per guest.
A traditional item for wedding party favors are matchbook covers
with the name of the bride and groom as well as the date of the
wedding. Since many people do not smoke anymore, this favor has
lost its appeal as of late. Another traditional favor is napkins
with the name of the bride and groom and the wedding date printed
on it. Many people make birdseed packets with ribbons. Rice was
used in the past, but it has been know to be dangerous to birds
in the area, so people generally do not use it anymore. Guests
can easily open these and throw the birdseed at the happy couple
as they leave. Many couples have started substituting bubbles
instead of birdseed, so they can blow bubbles at the couple as
they depart.
A less traditional item that can be used for a wedding party
favor is a bookmark. This usually has a poem or saying on it
followed by thanks from the happy couple, their names and date
of the wedding. You can also purchase small picture frames that
include the same information for each guest to take with them.
You can also purchase fortune cookies, miniature silver bells,
paperweights, even miniature favor boxes shaped as wedding cakes.
No matter what type of wedding party favors you decide to purchase,
just be sure to get something that reflects your style and personality.
